The mission for the KSA Environmental Technology Program is to transfer, localize, and develop high-quality environmental technologies for environmental preservation and the development of natural resources through strategic alliances

The ETP strategic goals were determined in line with the goals and objectives of the National Policy for Science and Technology and the key needs of the kingdom. These goals are:
•    Establishing a national infrastructure for environmental technologies.
